Compass size never correct, always stays red

I have followed your guides and your online tutorial, but simply doing what you did doesn't work.

I put the compass to the smallest size, put my mouse sensitivity to as low as possible and slowly made the compass bigger until it was the size of the picture. Stayed red the entire time.

Is there a way for me to take a screen shot and figure out how big my compass is so that I know how many pixels i'm off. Eye-balling it simply doesn't work.

you can do that alt+prtscr and paste it into an image editing software to figure out the size.
