Manual screenshot scanning from clipboard

Manual screenshot scanning from clipboard

For Windows 8.1 it seems it will always take blank screenshots due to desktop composition.

Is there a way to just use the clipboard for scanning screenshots? My print screen pastes perfectly into paint so the OS is able to copy the data.

Is there a special folder which can be listened to for new screen captures and scan them (like Linux sockets but for Windows)? Rather than try to connect to the EU process or whatever it is doing?

Thanks smiling smiley

That option is not available and I chose not to allow it for data integrity reasons.

Did you try windowed mode ? i know windows 8 is having issues with full screen. I have to figure out a way to enable full screen game capturing .. maybe via directX hooking .. if anyone has ever done this in win 8 + c# or c++ please let me know

Hello again. I am using windowed mode.

I use OBS to stream btw. That has game capture mode and it captures just fine.

It is open source and source code is here:

Maybe that has what you need to solve our Windows 8 woes smiling smiley
