I had a similar issue this summer where I could track coords, but not claims. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what changed between then and the time it started working again when I downloaded 1.0.6. I do know I changed some of my display settings in that time, different monitor layout, etc., so it's increasingly looking like the black screen issue varies depending on some unknown computer specific vaby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Bug Reports
This came up before in this thread: See if anything helps you there. Just in case, make you have other utilities on the download page like DirectX installed.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
Just curious, but do you have this issue if you try Entropia in fullscreen mode? Sometimes you also have to move the radar down a bit rather than exactly in the upper left, but I haven't seen a black screen like that before.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Bug Reports
QuoteIdo I'm here and trying to solve the registration e-mail issue ; ) Glad to see you're back Ido! I replied to your email if you want to chat sometime later.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Ask the dev
I posted this as a reply in the mining discussion forum, but doing so here since that one is full of the spam bot. I heard through Twitch that someone managed to get a hold of Ido in real life and that he didn't know about the recent issue with email verification not working. I mentioned it elsewhere, but I am writing a sort of bare bones emergency backup program in case LBML quits workiby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Ask the dev
QuoteKenshero Ken Suhima That would be awesome, will be here at a time you are ready with that new program I heard through Twitch that someone managed to get a hold of Ido in real life and that he didn't know about the recent issue with email verification not working. If Ido does come back, I won't be releasing my program in part because it's much more bare bones than LBML, but also because I'by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Mining discussions
Has anyone heard from Ido either in-game or real life? It looks like the last time they were online here was March 10, 2020. Given what was happening in March, that is a little bit of a concern, but hopefully they're doing fine and just checked out from internet things for whatever reason.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Ask the dev
It doesn't look like Ido is active anymore both to update LBML or to moderate the forums to keep spammers out. Just in case we do reach a point that LBML no longer works with new EU updates, I am working on a sort of substitute version since LBML no longer works on my computer (can't scan deeds). Not quite ready for public release, but if it comes to it, I'll make sure to keep something goingby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Mining discussions
Not sure if Ido is around anymore even (last login was back in March), but they mentioned it had to do with how they obfuscate the code so people can't send false data. My guess is that whatever method they used was acceptable years ago to Google, etc., but now they don't prefer it.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
What exactly do you mean does not display the data for the area? Do you mean the pop-up table that shows each resource? If that's the case, it could be a javascript issue (check for No-script options, etc.) preventing that part of the website fro working on your computer.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Bug Reports
Your radar likely isn't being detected due to brightness or gamma settings. Some backgrounds, especially bright white ones like snow or desert, can cause issues too. The simplest solution is to create a blank sticky card message and put it behind your radar. You need to make sure the coordinates are readable by the program by doing that. You can also adjust your brightness or gamma settings toby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
It's supposed to go back to step one at that point. What it should be doing i the process is showing the screen capture of the coordinates on your radar. If those coordinates are not in the capture, you need to move your radar (usually down from the upper left) until you get a clear image of the coordinates. This may also have to do with how large you set your radar to be. If it's too large orby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
You need to whitelist LBML. Some virus scanners don't throw a false positive (Avast is one I know of), but if Window's Defender is active, it will stop the download.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
It might be an easy change, but it wouldn't really "help" with mining at all. Where you got a global in the past isn't going to have any bearing on what you get there in the future. If someone really wants to sort by size though, that's already an option. Just exclude all claims below abundant (12 and below). Only globals will remain.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Wish List
Just to double check, did you try dropping a probe? Sometimes it just says 0% when I first open the program until I've actually dropped a probe and is says "Sending probe". If you did, LBML isn't showing a drop circle on the map? If this is still having issues, it only doesn't track drops. If the deed scanning still works fine, then it's just likely the placement of your finder windoby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
A little late to the party, but I recently had to redownload since I was playing off a different computer and had a few similar issues starting out. If you want a previous version of LBML, just change the target url to the desired version: My issues were ironically in windowed mode, but drops were not detected because of the finder UI overlapping my chat window / edge of the screen too muby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
So it's definitely not picking up on the deed info box then since it's at 0% and gives that failed message. First, it you click and drag the box around to a different clear area of your screen (not overlapping with the loot window, radar, etc.) does it then detect the deed? I usually avoid having the deed over my avatar or the mining claim like you do in this picture because it does cause issuby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Mining discussions
QuoteKenshero Ken Suhima I have came across with the same problem. Can't read the image and the I see the exact same information that you linked. My coordinates are captured, my findings are not (=find a resource). In the Error folder of the software a black screen is saved. This is a real problem, because my claims will not get logged. I shot an e-mail to support, haven't received a response yetby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Mining discussions
I had this issue once, but can't recall exactly how I fixed it. I assume when you look in your LBML folder, you cannot locate the file with that name either? Just to be sure, when I click this link and extract the folder, that filelist.dat file does exist in the folder. You still don't see it even specifically using that link, or does it exist and you get the error anyways? One option that didby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
Can you attach a screenshot of what your game looks like when you get the error? When you open the claim deed, you should be seeing this information, and no background picture of the deed. Those are the only things I can think of that might be interfering with the scan without seeing a screenshot.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Mining discussions
Sometimes antiviruses flag the program as a virus (even though it's not). You generally have to whitelist it or otherwise have your antivirus make an exception.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Release Notes
Just use the filter to exclude claims in the program itself after a certain date when you're in that area. The other option is to export your LBML claims to mapping software like ArcGIS or QGIS where you can select what claims you want visible more easily. It doesn't really work as well if you want a real-time map that LBML gives you, but it's the option I use when I'm picking apart differenceby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Mining discussions
If I remember correctly, it will only show if it's been logged in the last month few months(thanks Ido), so those depths you see are just a snapshot over that time period.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Ask the dev
At least in one belkar zone, it seems to switch between all lyst and back to "normal" with only a small amount of additional lyst depending on when you go there.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Mining discussions
As a second to this, are there plans to add this to the website maps too?by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Ask the dev
I literally just started trying this out with some success, but if you go through the steps again for screenshotting the radar, remember to click outside the radar in step 1 so that it fades out before progressing any further. That bases the recognition on the dimmed radar as you go through the later steps. However, the auto-tracking still doesn't work quite as well as it used to, but enoughby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Issue Troubleshooting
For some reason when I did a fresh download of v1.0.5.2, a lot of files and folders were missing like tessdata, maps, etc. I had 5.0 installed already, so I just went and copied the folders and files over to the new one until it didn't say files were missing anymore. If anyone else runs into missing files, that should get around the problem for now. After that and whitelisting on Avast, everytby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Release Notes
Are you still planning on doing probabilities for regions within each server (similar to your current server maps)? Another idea that I've been working on with my LBML data is to map average markup instead. If you're doing monthly aggregations, it wouldn't be hard summarize average markup even if you had to enter the markups by hand once a month like I do for my maps. Feel free to PM if you waby Tony Kingofaces Hans - Planned Features
After reading this, I realized you had all the images in the LBML folder already. Thanks^2 in that case.by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Ask the dev
I'm doing a little GIS work trying to remap revival zones, etc. I'd like to have the actual map images in the background though similar to what LBML. Ido, where do you get your map images? Seeing the map link on this website as well, it looks like you update the maps relatively often (last one was March 20). Is this just buried in the game files somewhere?by Tony Kingofaces Hans - Ask the dev
