Pressing P wont show location on the map

I've gone through about every post regarding this issue I feel at such loss, it used to work fine, havent used for a couple months but now I want to get back into mining.
Things i've tried -
1- going through the guide, making sure to disable claim deed object, enable main chat logging, enable Vsync, disable antistrophic filtering, disable desktop composition, tried resizing the radar in auto section under file / settings but cant get the red bar to turn green
2- redownloading and installing the dot net framework and direct X from the download page
3- deleting lbml, redownloading from site and updating to latest
4- deleting lbml redownloading from site and not updating keeping at at 1.0.0.0
5- made an exception in my firewall

I think thats everything i've tried, not sure what I can do, any help would be great thank u!

The press "P" isn't working anymore due to MA's latest patch. Ido is working on it
