hey im using windows xp, i get error after 100% dl of update. i tried unzipping with 7zip and winrar but i get the same error.
my log file says that :

One thing you can do is try to replace the Interop.Shell32.dll with the one found in your windows system folder ...

I added a custom Interop.Shell32.dll file so the unziping function will work on various OS versions ..

I'm not sure why its not working on yours

be sure to rename not delete the LBML one in case it doesn't help revert back to the LBML one not to introduce new issues.

Did you try unziping and placing the unzipped content in your main folder ?
Replacing the exe, config etc ?

Then the updater should stop trying to update your system.

hey Ido,
i cant find Interop.Shell32.dll, research on all the hard disk gives no results.
I didnt copy paste to original folder because its a computer which didnt have it.

yes i can unzip the file to a directory, then when i start the exe it is asking me to update then i keep getting error 1006 on it

If you unzip all the patches to the tool folder overwriting things it should not ask you anymore for updates and just run the tool..

The updater does exactly that.. DL a zip file and unzip to overwrite the files ... the unzipping causes the 1006 error in your case. so if you can do it manually it should work fine...

What unzip programs do you have installed on your PC ? i know someone reported some programs caused issues with the unzipping.
